Congratulations Coleen!!!

May 28, 2009: We just heard some exciting news-

Coleen was selected out of numerous applicants to be the new 6th grade Literacy teacher at Mena. A lot of teachers from the area applied for this opening, so we're so proud of her for being chosen. We've all been keeping our fingers crossed as she waited for the results.

She's been teaching at Van Cove, about 20 minutes from Mena this past year. Taking this job will reduce her commute time down to about 3 minutes!

Way to go Coleen! We know you'll be an asset to Mena School!

  1. Good job, Mama! Whipping the competition two years straight! I know you'll do good.

Note to future job applicants: If Coleen has her name in the hat - you might as well get your bat and ball and go home.

    Congratulations again,

    Trey
