Today we had to say goodbye to the family pet, Tripp. When I say "family" I mean the whole family, not just mine and Trey's. Tripp is my sister Valerie's dog, but we we've been keeping him while she works for a year in DC. She was just about to come home to get him, which makes it even sadder. A month or so ago Trey and I had to go out of town and so Tripp went to stay with our parents for the weekend. Well, they got so attached to him they never brought him back to us. I wonder if Daddy would have even given him back to Valerie! Anyway, he got sick recently and nothing could be done to make him better. Valerie, I'm really sorry about your loss. Thanks for sharing Tripp for a little while with us. We have some great memories of him!!
Oh your post makes me so sad. I am a huge dog lover and I can't stand to hear of anyone losing their pets. It's like losing a friend.
