Luau Bunco!!

June 1, 2009: Trey offered to keep Riley, Ava and Isabel so Liz and I could have a night out. Thank you Trey!! We went to Aunt Julia's bunco party in Dierks. I confess, we left before the games began to get home and put kids to bed, but while we were there we had a fabulous time. There were over 40 ladies there, from all over Arkansas, and I even heard Louisiana. But you'd never guess some were strangers by the fun this bunch was having! As always, Aunt Julia is a wonderful hostess and knows how to throw the perfect party. The food was delicious. Think 40 different dishes!! I sampled shrimp linguine, bunco buns, oriental salad, sweet and sour chicken and chicken salad to name a few. Aunt Julia has a beautiful backyard and it made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor landscaping and tropical decorations, down to the floating candles in the pool, made us forget we were in South Arkansas for a while! I definitely look forward to next year!
