Scrappers outlast much improved Mena Bearcats 52-31

October 2, 2009: When it comes to football I'm at a loss for words, so Trey wrote this clever heading for me. These pics are from the Nashville vs. Mena game. Since Commie and Big Daddy (both lifelong Scrappers until recently) are now Mena residents, the family all gathered to watch this one. Now, I'll admit I'm not even close to a dedicated football fan, but I do enjoy dressing up the girls in their Scrapper attire!

For the past 2 football seasons, Trey has been one of three TV commentators for the Scrappers. We snuck a peek into the press box and watched him in action. Ava even got to be on TV for a few seconds. Ava was so proud of him, I heard her telling her cousins - "see that guy up there, that's my Daddy!" Big Daddy was the radio commentator for the Scrappers before he left Nashville, and Aunt Lauren is a reporter, so obviously this talent runs in the family!
