Christmas in Antoine with Hendrix's

Mom and Daddy with their three grandchildren: Isabel, Riley and Ava.
Honey and PopPop with their great-grands
Enjoying a wonderful Christmas feast!

Valerie and Jonathan: they have been dating for several months and we were all glad to have him join us for Christmas. Right away, we all felt that he fit right in with our bunch. He went hunting with the guys and didn't seem to mind the kids climbing on him either! We hope Val brings him back again soon.

Sunday afternoon we enjoyed watching Ava, Isabel and Riley play on the new playhouse and swingset Grandaddy built them. He actually used the swingset frame he played on as a little boy, which makes it even more special.  They had the best time swinging and climbing. Thanks Daddy!

More pics of the weekend in Antoine:
The Sat. morning brunch and gift swap.
Sunday: Jeannie, David Brian and Sarah came over. Jeannie made aprons for us- aren't they cute! I've already worn mine to prepare a Sunday dinner-I definitely felt like Bree Vandekamp! And Sarah made us beautiful scarves. That evening we played cards while Grandaddy, Chad and Trey assembled a kitchen set for Ava and Isabel.
Or, was Darwin supervising while his sons-in-law did the work? hmmm . . .
  Just kidding Daddy!
Here is Daddy with drill in hand:
and the grandkids enjoying the finished product. Does Riley care that it's a pink kitchen set? Nope!
They all LOVE it!
Thank you Granddaddy and Memaw for a wonderful Christmas!! We love you!
