Thursday, March 4, 2010: Uncle Robin and Aunt Judith came all the way from Cleveland, OH to visit us at Antoine. We had been looking forward to their visit for a long time. What a treat to see them! They brought books, stuffed animals and lots of hugs for the kids! They arrived Thursday night, Trey came over too. We all talked, played with the kids and Mom served her delicious homemade soup for supper. Mom was recovering from knee surgery a week ago but it didn't stop her from being a gracious hostess as always!
Friday: Playing on Granddaddy's swingset
and being silly with Uncle Robin!
Uncle Robin and Aunt Judith left Fri. afternoon. We were sad to see them go, they were so much fun!
Then we had another visitor, this one unexpected! Clay came in from Harding for Spring Break and and dropped off a little hitchhiker he brought all the way from Searcy. . . RILEY!! He had his cowboy hat on. He was ready to play on the farm!
Fri. evening, Mom, Daddy and I sat and watched the kids play. They were so cute. I just love when the 3 cousins get together. Once they all lined up and sang "I'm a Little Teapot" and halfway through, as if they had planned it, Isabel and Riley "tipped over!" They stayed bent over touching the ground while Ava finished the song!
Saturday was another gorgeous day. Memaw and Granddaddy played with the kids outside and I got to catch up on the computer and have some quiet time with Sophia.

Glad you enjoyed your Cleveland visitors. We were trying to plan an Easter trip to AR but it didn't work out. Someday you should all come up this way again- I think a summer car trip to Cleveland with 3 little girls sounds like a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI remember at Thanksgiving you told me to comment on your blog & I'm finally taking the time. I just love reading about all your adventures! I especially liked the train ride story :)
Tell everyone we say hello!
