(Here's some of what we did this summer. More to follow! Better late than never I guess!)
May 2010: Kindergarten, Here we come!!
Ava's 1st homework!!
Mrs. Blue sent a letter home asking her soon-to-be students to write her a letter telling about themselves. So, Ava told me what she wanted to say and I printed it for her to copy in her own handwriting. It's a treasure for sure. Bless her sweet little heart! May 11, 2010: Kindergarten Pre-Registration and "Meet the Teacher Day!!"
"You’ll look up and down streets. Look’em over with care. About some you will say, “I don’t choose to go there.” With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you’re too smart to go down a not-so-good street."
"Oh! The Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss
We LOVE Mrs. Blue!!!!!
May 11, 2010: Trey with his girls. . . love these!!
May 12, 2010: Trey representing Diamond Bank at the Howard County Children's Center telethon. I love this look of admiration Ava is giving him.
May 13, 2010: For Mother's Day I received a dozen potted plants and hanging baskets, all lovingly (and secretly) planted by Trey and the girls! I am continually amazed by the thoughtfulness and sweetness of my husband. And to think that my girls will have these memories for the rest of their lives . . . my heart feels like it's about to explode!! I don't know what the future holds, but I am pretty sure there will be a lot of boys turned down because they don't measure up to Daddy!
June 7, 2010: At Aunt Julia's annual "Luau Bunco."
June 7-11 Sunset's VBS.
Sophia's first VBS class. She's 4 1/2 months.
She loved it so much she began attending cradle roll on Sun. and Wed. nights from then on. She goes right in that little yellow seat and smiles as I leave. One morning recently we were late so I just stayed in her class to "spy" on her. Watching Mrs. Lorraine sing to them and have each baby "pat the Bible" and "love the Bible" was precious. How I hope and pray Sophia will always love God's Word!
June 21, 2010: Zoe, Ava, Riley, Isabel, Gabby at M'Boro Waterpark.
Ladies Man!!
June 30, 2010: Trey making his farewell speech as outgoing Rotary President!! LOL!!
Rotary International is an organization that promotes business ethics and helping others. Its motto is "Service above Self" and its members work toward improving their communities, and on a grander scale, the world. Rotary's main goal is the global eradication of polio. I am SO proud of Trey, Floyd and all Rotarians for their hard work and their servant hearts.
So PROUD of Daddy!!!!

July 16, 2010 My 32nd b-day. Honey and Pop Pop come to visit and take us out to eat.
The girls were being very secretive in the craft room. Then later that day they wanted me to go check the mail. On our way out their enthuasism got the best of them and they ran ahead of me and Isabel opened the mailbox. Ava was quick to remind her to "wait for mommy!" It was a sweet birthday card made by my dear girls!
Look closely at the shirt Ava's wearing and you'll see me as a little girl, with a PERM!!! Yes, I give you permission to snicker behind my back!!! And that's Valerie on Isabel's shirt. We all think they are
look-alikes!
LOVE THIS GUY!!
Ava and Isabel stuffed bears with Honey.

The picture with the girls wearing Carmen and Valerie shirts is exceptional!
