3rd Snow!!

Feb. 9, 2011: Another beautiful snow!!

 We got this snow ice cream recipe from Coleen. 8 cups fresh snow, 1/2 can Eagle Brand condensed milk, tsp. vanilla and mix until creamy. Eat immediately... this stuff is so unbelievably GOOD!!!! You just can't imagine until you've tasted it! We added a few drops food coloring and made ours pink!

Feb. 10, 2011: The next day the sun came out and the snow and ice started melting pretty fast. When it was safe to drive, we went down the road to the Bowmans for what we think will probably be the grand finale of the winter season here in South Arkansas.  Uncle Johnny, Aunt Carol and the boys had a blast the day before pulling their "Big Mabel air mattress" behind their Rhino and invited us to come play!

What a ride!!!

Afterwards we came inside for Aunt Carol's delicious homemade hot chocolate, (not a mix... real chocolate and cream!!) soup and grilled sandwiches. Delicious!!  What a FUN day with a FUN family!! Thanks Bowmans for sharing your snow day with us!!
